Michael, I'm going to get this, but I have a question for you... I have struggled with mental health issues since age 12. I'm 58. due to a variety of things that happened to me, atop of the UNBEARABLE oppression - depression (whatever it is) in my mind with this chem. imbalance, I turned to drugs to numb the torment in my brain.I have been clean sober for 1.9 months, the longest time EVER in 46 years. I've had about 10 or so months clean during those years, but I always would drink wine with meals (not to get drunk but as a custom I learned with my Italian culture)
Anywho, I do NOT call those things that are not, but of course call those things that are not YET as though they already ARE. In fact, I KNOW I am 'FREE' in the spirit but NOT yet free in my 'brain', my flesh, the phys manifestation is still there and very strong. I wake up almost evry day crying, often progressing into screaming out to God with moans and groans. it gets sooooo bad I vomit or have dry heaves.
I am believing this crying out - is part of my healing and deliverance. I am careful who I share this to because they judge me (leadership), saying there is no such thing as depression (I guess they didn't read about Job, Joseph, David, Jonah, etc. lol)... and they also keep me from being in a position of ministry to facilitate a bible/church related class/meeting. They put me into that 'judgement' of being UN-usable. NOT receiving that!!!
Additionally, i have been disabled for 13 years of being handicapped now, which I know is also a component of the mental health issue as I am a very social person and can't drive or get out much but for church functions and/or dr appts LOL grrrr. I used to be a 'street' witness. I even coordinated 2 county outreaches which the Lord used the admin. gifts, as well as the fruits... mainly love, for I loveee people. Hundreds came to the Lord... I don't see raggedy, toothless, stinky peeps. I see peeps in need of love and Jesus. (People at church in the "PHEWS" are often more stanky than those in the streets. ----------------------
So, during the day (24/7 being home - at least 16 hours a day gets VERY BORING. Making the head thing worse. But I PRESSSSSSSSS AND PUSHHHHHHHHH - every day - basically all day. In the midst, I call, text, and encourage others via social media!
God has gifted me in soooooo many areas, this ALSO frustrates me because I am STUCK with this head thing and could do so much more for the Lord. I draw, paint, write, sing, and used to dance for the lord and participated in plays and play writing. I JUST DONT KNOW WHYYYYYYY GOD KEEPS ME IN THIS PLACE IN MY HEAD... I mean, ive been thru it long enough, and help many as a result, but, WHYYYYYY can't he stop it?
I hope u have something you can say to me, or direct me to go, etc. I believe I'm doing all I can do, and I'm believing, by faith, that I will be delivered!
PS - LOVE that picture, it inspired me. As I said I paint/draw and Gods been ushering me to do THAT too, but I havn't gotten there yet. YET...
